Health services as sites of creativity, innovation and change;Creativity;Innovation;Change;Multidimensional and multilevel views of creativity, innovation and change;Framing creativity, innovation and change according to different worldviews;The notion of 'agency' in creativity, innovation and change; andThe 'dark side' of creativity.

Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
be able to describe and compare different conceptualisations of creativity, innovation and change and the relationships between these;
2.
be able to critically analyse health services as sites of creativity, innovation and change;
3.
be able to critically evaluate illustrations of creativity, innovation and change in reference to their current or future health service contexts and roles according to different worldviews;
4.
be able to discuss manager and staff agency roles in relation to the judicious facilitation of creativity, innovation and change; and
5.
be able to explain how creativity, innovation and change can be facilitated in a health service.
