<p>The challenge of managing environmental problems is complex, but these problems bring opportunities for innovative solutions. This capstone subject requires students to think critically and creatively about current environmental problems, and to integrate the knowledge gained through prior learning to provide an effective solution. This subject will deepen students&#39; understanding of the complexities of environmental management using a combination of professional presentations, inquiry and problem-based learning, and reflective practice approaches. Students will consolidate their learning, and apply their knowledge and skills, through participation in a meaningful workplace learning experience.</p>

critically analyse environmental reports, policy documents and peer-reviewed sources of information;

 Students are required to complete 40 hours of work placement with an environmental organisation of their choice. This workplace learning experience will enable students to consolidate their academic learning and develop professional skills through active participation in a professional environment.
