Paramedic clinical leadership;Advanced patient history taking;Advanced patient assessment/physical examination;Interpretation of point of care diagnostic tests; andClinical decision making.

Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
identify the role of paramedic leadership in patient care;
2.
integrate and apply the knowledge required to complete a thorough advanced patient assessment including: physical exams, patient history, and the integration of point of care diagnostic tests;
3.
make sound clinical decisions to support, maintain and restore the health of patients by utilising clinical data/findings from patient assessment and point of care diagnostic tests; and
4.
apply knowledge of models and theories to clinical decision making in paramedic practice.

Restricted to students enrolled in postgraduate paramedic study.
