It is assumed students attempting this subject have completed an undergraduate degree or have equivalent professional experience and have a research project proposal. Students should have completed preparatory research methodology subjects such as CCI501.

This subject requires students to complete a substantial research-based project in any, or a mix, of the following formats: creative project with exegesis; industry specific report; scholarly academic thesis; industry specific portfolio with exegesis. Students undertake the project independently with the support of an academic supervisor in an area of scholarly or professional interest. This subject is taken full time over one session.

This subject is available to students in School of Communication and Creative Industries Masters level courses.
