Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
be able to outline the legislative responsibilities and educational policies that support inclusion;
2.
be able to describe strategies for collaboration with students, parents/caregivers and other professionals that encourage active family participation;
3.
be able to create an Individual Family Service Plan or Create an Individual Education Plan;
4.
be able to develop appropriate learning goals and explain how you will teach them;
5.
be able to identify appropriate resources to support a child and/or their family;
6.
be able to choose teaching strategies that are effective in meeting the learning needs of students with a diverse range of abilities; and
7.
be able to differentiate lessons according to content, process, product and learning environment.
