Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
1.
be able to prepare an effective job application for the Agricultural industry;
2.
be able to explore and enhance personal brand development through academic application, self-development and life-long learning;
3.
be able to critically evaluate and reflect on practical and technical competency development through personal professional experience by participating in work placement;
4.
be able to implement professional standards within the Agricultural industry; and
5.
be able to develop and enhance communication skills to various audiences within the industry.

Only available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Agricultural Science.

Work integrated learning

Placement Duration 225 hours Details Students must complete 225 hours (30 days) on placement (7.5 h/day) within a part of Industry of their choosing (as aligned with their major) working beside an industry mentor.
