Overview
- To provide registered nurses with the opportunity to make a successful transition to paramedicine;
- To develop students as reflective practitioners who can analyse often complex problems and implement a plan of action that is clinically, ethically and logistically sound;
- To develop a sound knowledge base in order to support the clinical decision making process;
- To enable students to demonstrate positive, caring attitudes towards First Nations people, clients, and the members of the community; and
- To operate as an effective member of a multidisciplinary health care team.
