Overview
The course aims to build on a paramedic's prior professional knowledge to provide graduates with specialist knowledge, skills, and clinical abilities (as well as professional experiences) in critical care so that they can operate with autonomy and responsibility in the workplace.
Graduates specialising in critical care have expert specialised skills in advanced critical care level (i.e. Intensive Care Paramedic, Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance, Critical Care).
The program serves as a pathway for professional specialisation in these areas.
