Overview
The Graduate Certificate in Adult and Vocational Education aims to qualify graduates who can apply a body of knowledge in a range of contexts for professional or highly skilled work and/or as a pathway for further learning.
This includes the acquisition and application of a comprehensive range of the following:
- knowledge and skills in a new or existing discipline or professional area;
- cognitive skills to critically review, analyse, consolidate and synthesise knowledge;
- cognitive and technical skills in relation to analysis, interpretation, problem solving and skills development; and
- communication skills to present knowledge and ideas to a range of audiences.
