Overview
This course is designed to introduce students to the study of accounting. The course consists of 8 subjects and is designed to allow students to choose subjects to best meet their individual needs with up to 4 subjects able to be taken from non accounting areas. The course acts as an entry and exit point for the Master of Professional Accounting.

Upon completion of this course, graduates will be able to:

Understand and be able to apply principles and analytical techniques from economics, commercial law, business communications and quantitative methods, in the accounting context, for the recognition and solution of accounting and other business problems and the identification of sustainable opportunities in the business environment
