Overview

The primary aim of the program is to produce graduates capable of successfully completing research, analysis, and evaluation, which results in a distinct contribution to knowledge. The graduates will be capable of performing a range of research, policy, and planning roles within law enforcement and related agencies. Graduates will be expected to identify and research current issues impacting on their work environment and transform the findings of their research into professional practice and policy. The course aims to produce students with the ability to critically assess current policies and evaluate new and emerging trends in investigation practice. This course will engage students in a study of practical investigative methodology, in Australia and internationally.
