Overview
Graduates will have broad and coherent knowledge of the communication discipline including in-depth understanding of one sub-discipline, and its relationships with other sub-disciplines. They will have:
- The skills to critically select appropriate methods and technologies to source, analyse, evaluate and synthesise knowledge and information from diverse sources to complete professional activity
- Cognitive and technical skills to prepare and communicate information and skills to diverse audiences, in the broad field of communication, and in the chosen sub-discipline.
- Intellectual and creative skills to apply critical thinking and judgement to the identification, definition and generation of solutions to complex problems in unpredictable and authentic environments
- A sense of curiosity and the capability to plan, undertake, evaluate and communicate research in the discipline/sub-disciplines of communication autonomously.
- Highly developed communication skills to present a clear, coherent and independent exposition of knowledge and ideas for defined purposes, and diverse audiences
