Overview

Graduates will have technical and theoretical knowledge of the communication discipline, including basic understandings of the sub-disciplines in the field. They will have:

  • The skills to source, review, analyse and synthesise knowledge and information for a defined audience
  • Cognitive and technical skills to communicate information across different modes of delivery
  • Intellectual and creative skills to exercise critical thinking and judgement in identifying and solving authentic problems in the discipline of communication
  • A sense of curiosity and the capability to devise effective questions and find answers
  • Strong communication skills to present a clear, coherent exposition of knowledge and ideas.
